In the blink of an eye, his foe has torn off a leg and disappeared. Is Rex bewildered, angry or both?
The earth shakes as the once mighty Rex crashes to the ground, still and rigid, overtaken by the long shadow of death, never to rise again.
I found these images in my archives a few weeks ago. I had completely forgotten about these photos I staged out in my back yard one day way back in 1970 or 1971. I found a piece of driftwood and decided to play. Finally, I completed this tableau in my digital darkroom and had a lot of fun doing it.
