Does the mystery hand belong to the young boy’s father? His uncle? It’s clear to me that these hands, the man’s and the boy’s are loving hands, trusting hands. I love the story implied in this image. I see this scene and I smile and am happy I was there to capture this special moment.
You can date this photo easily. Notice the auto in the background? It’s a Ford Edsel. Haven’t seen one of them for eons. It’s so much fun to tap into my archives from time to time. I never know what will pop up. I’m glad this one did.
