I tapped into my archives for this week’s shot. I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time for photography — bummer.

It was a beautiful day for a cruise on the Delaware River. It sure beat hanging around in the office. We were standing on the upper deck passing the Navy Yard when I snapped this image with my carry around Olympus Stylus Epic.

I grabbed some neat reflection shots last Sunday when I was out riding my bike. I need to finish the roll and develop the film as soon as I have the time.

I never missed a step when I shot this one. I was taking my lunchtime walk along Walnut Street in Phila. one day about 6 years ago. I had a Canonet rangefinder hanging from my right shoulder, focus preset, finger on the shutter release when I passed LaCigale. I shot from the hip (literally) and never knew what I’d done until I had the film processed.

Street shooting can be hit or miss but I think I scored on this one. The camera was level, the image more or less in focus and the composition not half bad. I’ll take it.
